Is it true? Is there another Fortnite crossover coming? This time, well-known Fortnite leaker @HYPEX has pointed out a new skin hidden in files named “FrenchFry” and believes it contains a new skin based on Friday Night at Freddy’s franchise. HYPEX has pointed out previously that the first letter of each word matches with the initials of what the skin is based on. For example, the leaked a file codenamed “TourBus” which was a skin based on Tyler Blevins, otherwise known as Ninja. This time HYPEX believes FF stands for Freddy Fazbear.
Sounds of the characters’ footsteps were also found in the file which can be heard below.

For those who are unfamiliar with Friday Night at Freddy’s here’s a quick rundown. Groups of players are stalked by a herd of animatronics from a pizza chain which is meant to depict restaurants like Chuck E. Cheese. Please keep in mind this is a leak, so whether we will actually see him this season is not definite but, this season is focused on the greatest hunters across the multiverse, so it’s a pretty good fit.
In this season so far we’ve seen Predator, T-800, Kartos, Din Djarin, Master Chief, Snake Eyes and Sarah Connor. All amazing hunters in their own rights, so Freddy Fazbear would slot in nicely, don’t you think? It’s still possible that “FrenchFries” could be code for something completely different but the footsteps make HYPEX’s theory very strong.
Would you like to see Freddy in Fortnite? Do you have a favourite hunter in the multiverse which you’d like to make the Fortnite crossover list? Let us know!
