Last night we saw the action-packed PlayStation State of Play, just wow! From childhood memories playing crash to new exciting twists on traditional campaign games.
However, there were a few games we expected to make an appearance but didn’t, Horizon and Ratchet & Clank being the main two.
PlayStation State of Play Recap
Crash 4 kicked off the show promising new 4K 60FPS gameplay, 2.9D maps, faster loading times, 3D audio and reactive triggers on PS5.
We got a taste of Returnal gameplay which we have to say looks incredibly difficult yet extremely satisfying. And just to make it that little bit harder, the map, enemy location and numbers changes upon every death.
Knockout City, which we recently created an article about also made an appearance giving players a more in-depth view of tactics and gameplay.
Sifu was also in the lineup but there wasn’t really any information shared, from the trailer. It seems like when you die you become older and perhaps wiser? Let us know what you think.
Solar Ash simply looks so smooth to play the perfect game to play after a stressful day to relax and unwind.
The next instalment of the classic Friday Nights At Freddy’s, Security Breach looks every bit creepy and unnerving as you’d expect.
Talking about classic throwbacks, Abe the beloved Mudokon is making a return in Oddworld Soulstorm which should be launching on 6th April on PS5.
Kena: Bridge of Spirits looks adorable, and the scenery looks incredible but, don’t let that fool you into thinking there’s no action. Set to release on 24th August.
In Deathloop, you’re stuck in a time loop. You need to craft a specific route to eliminate 8 targets and 1 rival assassin in just 24 hours.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade closed the show offering updated graphics, an extra chapter and faster loading times. Due 10th June.
We think all of these games are worth testing out but would’ve also liked to have delved deeper into Ratchet & Clank and Horizon. Which games did you want to see?
