The new Among Us map “Airshxip” is set to release this month on March 31, 2021 but that’s not the only addition, you will now be able to pick which room you spawn in, use ladders, account system and more.
Innersloth announced and previewed this map which is based on the Toppat Clan Airship from Henry Stickmin series at The Game Awards 2020.
Innersloth shared that this map and update has taken more time than originally thought to create.
The biggest challenges they faced was getting the new map out and working properly across all platforms and devices. As of now, Among Us is available on PC, Switch and mobile but will be hitting Xbox consoles in 2021.
Much to our surprise, the Among Us team is made up of only 5 people, even though the game has seen massive success they don’t want to over-expand and not be capable of caring for their team as much as they’d like to. This being said, they will be looking for a new addition to the team but want’s to make sure they pick the correct person.
Along with the new map, Innersloth will be implementing a basic account system to help combat toxicity within the Among Us community. This is their first port of call before pushing out loads of content, they want their game to be a fun safe place for everyone.
