SMG’s are an important part of any loadout in Warzone and with weapon balances changing the meta, we wanted to share what we think are the top 5 SMG classes in Season 3 for Modern Warfare, Cold War and Warzone.
Best Warzone Season 3 SMG classes
MP5
A solid reliable choice for its rate of fire, time to kill and stability. In encounters 15m or less there’s not much you can do to outgun this classic SMG but as you get further away it will start to drop off.

MP7
Know for its incredible range, easy to control recoil and medium rate of fire the MP7 will always be in the top 5.

- Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip
- Barrel: FSS Recon
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
LC10
Introduced at the start of Season 3 the LC10 soon become a top-tier choice for players who want a solid and reliable secondary in their loadout.
- Ammo: STANAG 55 Rnd
- Stock: Raider Stock
- Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
- Barrel: 13.9” Task Force
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
Bullfrog
This SMG has two major advantages over other weapons in its class; headshot damage multiplier and magazine size. 56 rounds and it only takes a couple of bullets to the head to down the enemy, it’s truly a must-try.

- Stock: KGB Skeletal Stock
- Underbarrel: Spetsnaz Grip
- Barrel: 7.4” Task Force
- Muzzle: GRU Suppressor
MAC-10
With its fast rate of fire, minimal recoil and incredibly quick time-to-kill the MAC-10 has been the go-to SMG since it arrived in Warzone.

- Underbarrel: Field Agent Grip
- Barrel: 5.9” Task Force
- Muzzle: Agency Suppressor
Although on paper the MAC-10 is the best SMG, all 5 of these weapons have seen great success in Warzone.
