The long-awaited LEGO Marvel Superheroes is finally coming to Nintendo Switch. The release date will be on October 5th shared on Marvel’s Twitter page. The blog post reads,
“Featuring an original story crossing the entire Marvel Universe and filled with classic LEGO videogame adventure and humor, players take on the role of their favorite Marvel Super Heroes as they unite to stop a host of villains from destroying the world. Players will smash, swing and fly through the Marvel Universe as they travel to iconic locations, such as Stark Tower, the X-Mansion, Asteroid M, and Asgard”.
The combination of LEGO themed adventure game incorporates the magic of Marvel. With those two big names, what could go wrong? Some even naming it the best modern LEGO game ever!
LEGO has built up it’s gaming success with the Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga and Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. They are aiming to repeat this again with Lego Marvel Superheroes.
With 180 characters to choose from ranging from Ant-Man to Wolverine. Each character has their own personality and superpower lending itself to many variations of play.
If you weren’t sold on the Switch release of LEGO Marvel Superheroes, take note that the upcoming release will include the base game and all the DLCs. That means the Super Pack (featuring Dark Phoenix) and Asgard Character Pack (that tied into Thor: The Dark World) will give you plenty of action and entertainment!
