It makes sense when you think about it. Activision has remastered both classic Modern Warfare and MW2. While Activision hasn’t announced anything officially sources say that MW3 campaign is next in line to be remastered.
A reliable COD insider has provided us with new information suggesting a reveal could be happening very soon. According to Twitter user, @TheMW2Ghost Activision is planning to launch Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Campaign Remastered later this year. Originally the information stated that the third remaster of the original Modern Warfare series would come in the 2nd quarter so it could be very soon!

One thing to take from this report is that the MW3 Campaign Remaster looks like it will be a timed exclusive for PlayStation for around a month. Although this may sound surprising to you it actually happened last year with the launch of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered which hit PlayStation first then Xbox and PC a month later.
