Stay calm, it’s happening! Stay calm! The Call of Duty blog has recently revealed a huge “era-defining franchise event”, called ‘Call of Duty Next’ and promises LIVE gameplay, details of “innovations” and a whole bunch of coverage from upcoming Call of Duty titles including Modern Warfare 2.
Alongside more details on Call of Duty: Warzone 2 the sequel to Warzone and Warzone Mobile, fans will get to see the full multiplayer reveal for Modern Warfare II to get excited about as well as more information about the game.
This event is set to take place on 15th September and is being presented by Infinity Ward, and will see a host of popular streamers playing the games in real-time and promises even more shocking surprises than just those that have been listed on the blog.
What’s more, information on both the open beta and early access beta for Modern Warfare II has been confirmed! For everyone who’s preordered the game on PS4 or PS5 or got their hands on an early access code from the Call of Duty League Championship over the weekend will be able to dive in first between the 16th and 17th of September. Followed by any PlayStation users regardless of preorder status on 18th to 20th September.
Then those who have preordered on Xbox or prepurchases on PC will be able to join the cross-platform beta between 22nd and 23rd September and lastly between 24th and 26th September any players regardless of whether they’ve preordered or not can join the beta.
