High Horns: Climbing Into Launch Day

Get ready to climb, explore and cause chaos! XORWIRE Games is preparing to launch High Horns VR on Friday 13th November 2026. The new multiplayer adventure will arrive on Meta Quest and Steam, bringing an exciting climbing experience to virtual reality.

Players can expect challenging mountains, unpredictable obstacles and plenty of hilarious moments. Furthermore, the launch marks another exciting milestone for independent VR developer XORWIRE Games.

Following its release, High Horns will also take centre stage at DreamHack Stockholm later this month.

What Is High Horns?

High Horns is a multiplayer VR climbing game that puts players in the hooves of adventurous mountain goats. The goal is simple: climb, explore and overcome the challenges ahead.

However, reaching the summit isn’t always easy.

Players must navigate difficult terrain, tackle obstacles and work together to conquer towering mountains. Along the way, physics-based interactions create unpredictable moments that make every adventure different.

Additionally, High Horns encourages players to experiment with different routes and approaches. Whether you’re climbing alongside friends or attempting a daring shortcut, teamwork can make all the difference.

The game also features unique environments, including volcanic landscapes and gravity-shifting challenges. As a result, players will need creativity, coordination and determination to succeed.

Above all, High Horns focuses on making VR climbing entertaining, social and full of surprises.

High Horns Launches on Friday 13th November

High Horns officially launches on Friday 13th November 2026, giving VR enthusiasts a new multiplayer adventure to explore.

The game will be available on Meta Quest and Steam for $10.

To celebrate the launch, XORWIRE Games is giving early players the chance to unlock an exclusive in-game reward. Anyone who downloads High Horns between 13th and 20th November can receive a special bloody machete trinket. This limited-time cosmetic will remain permanently unlocked for eligible players.

Furthermore, the launch marks the beginning of an exciting new adventure for the VR community. With challenging climbs, unpredictable gameplay and multiplayer fun, there’s plenty to discover.

Whether you’re teaming up with friends or tackling the mountains for the first time, High Horns promises an entertaining experience from day one.

Meet XORWIRE Games: The Studio Behind High Horns

High Horns is the latest project from XORWIRE Games, an independent VR development studio founded by young developer Evan.

Despite being just 16 years old, Evan has already built an impressive presence within the VR gaming industry.

XORWIRE’s growing portfolio includes Breakout VR, Chemp Physics, Stupid Chimp Slop and Munkie All-Stars.

Each title explores different gameplay ideas, highlighting the studio’s creativity and enthusiasm for immersive entertainment.

Moreover, XORWIRE’s games have collectively achieved over 1.5 million downloads. This impressive milestone reflects the studio’s growing reach within the VR community.

Stupid Chimp Slop has also gained industry recognition as a finalist at the 2026 TIGA Awards.

With High Horns, XORWIRE continues to build on that momentum. The new release introduces another ambitious multiplayer experience to its expanding collection.

High Horns Heads to DreamHack Stockholm 2026

Following the launch, XORWIRE Games will showcase High Horns at DreamHack Stockholm from 27th to 29th November 2026.

The popular gaming event brings together players, creators, developers and gaming enthusiasts from across the industry.

Visitors can find XORWIRE Games at Stand B05:19, where they can experience High Horns first-hand.

Attendees will have the opportunity to test the climbing mechanics, explore the game and discover its multiplayer challenges.

Additionally, visitors can meet members of the XORWIRE team and learn more about the studio’s projects.

For content creators, DreamHack also offers a fantastic opportunity to capture gameplay and experience High Horns in person.

From unpredictable multiplayer climbing to its upcoming DreamHack Stockholm showcase, there’s plenty for VR fans to look forward to.
