GTA 6 Countdown: Leaks, Rumours & Hype

With the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 drawing closer, excitement surrounding Rockstar Games’ highly anticipated title continues to build. From alleged review copies and fresh gameplay leaks to real-world promotions, the latest GTA 6 developments have given fans plenty to discuss.

With 19th November 2026 approaching, here’s a look at the biggest stories making headlines over the last 72 hours.

GTA 6 Review Copies Reportedly Sent to Journalists

One of the biggest talking points involves claims that Rockstar Games has begun distributing GTA 6 review copies to selected journalists.

According to circulating reports attributed to gaming insider NateTheHate, a review embargo could reportedly be scheduled for 18th November, just one day before the game’s planned release.

However, Rockstar has not confirmed these claims, and there is currently no official announcement regarding review timings.

Nevertheless, the possibility of early review access has sparked discussion about when players might receive their first independent impressions of GTA 6.

GTA 6 Brings Burger Shot Into the Real World

Rockstar’s fictional fast-food chain, Burger Shot, is reportedly making the jump from the GTA universe into real life.

Miami-based burger chain Skinny Louie has been linked to a promotional collaboration that could see participating Florida restaurants transformed into GTA-inspired Burger Shot locations during November.

The reported campaign includes themed packaging, staff uniforms and special menu items.

It’s an interesting approach to GTA 6 marketing, particularly given the game’s Vice City setting and its inspiration from Miami.

For fans, it could offer a chance to experience a small part of the GTA universe before launch.

GTA 6 Marketing Campaign Begins to Expand

Beyond restaurant promotions, reports suggest Rockstar’s GTA 6 advertising campaign is beginning to reach a much wider audience.

Recent discussions have highlighted alleged promotional appearances during major sporting events, including El Clásico, alongside sponsored entertainment content on YouTube.

Although individual advertising placements have not all been independently confirmed, the growing attention reflects the scale of anticipation surrounding the game.

With launch approaching, fans will be watching closely for further official trailers, gameplay showcases and announcements.

Alleged GTA 6 Gameplay Leak Sparks Fresh Discussion

Unverified GTA 6 gameplay footage has also returned to the spotlight.

Recent reports describe an alleged 25-minute gameplay leak associated with the online account Cyberleek.

The supposed footage reportedly features street racing, dirt-bike riding and first-person driving sequences.

However, there is no independent confirmation that the footage is genuine, and fans should approach the claims cautiously.

GTA 6 has already experienced significant leaks throughout its development, making authenticity an important consideration whenever new footage appears online.

Until Rockstar releases further official gameplay, these latest claims remain speculation rather than confirmed features.

Rockstar Developers Reflect on Previous GTA 6 Leaks

Meanwhile, comments attributed to senior Rockstar developer Rob Nelson Garbut have renewed discussion surrounding the impact of GTA 6’s major 2022 development leak.

The reported interview reflects on how the unauthorised release of early footage affected the development team and the challenges of maintaining secrecy around such a highly anticipated project.

With expectations continuing to rise, Rockstar’s approach to official announcements remains a major talking point.
