Now the mid-season update has been and gone Warzone’s player base are looking forward to what’s next in Pacific season 2 and here’s what you can expect including release date, what’s new, map changes, leaked event and more.
Call of Duty tweeted out that Warzone Pacific Season 2 will drop on February 14, 2022, after being pushed back to give devs time to balance and optimize your current gameplay experience.”
What’s new in Warzone Pacific Season 2?
Well, nothing has been officially announced but we can make an educated guess from previous seasons. We’re expecting to see:
- New weapons
- New Operators
- Map changes
- New game modes
- Themed-event with challenges & rewards
- Significant weapon balance updates & bug fixes
All speculation of course so please don’t take this as gospel.
Leaked event
This is a leak so please treat it as one. No event has been officially confirmed but leakers have reportedly found out that it will be a seasonal event bringing Gas Weapons, Armored Convoys, Redeploy Balloons and secret bunkers.
Map changes
Raven Software has teased that the compound just south of the Docks POI will be changed in the Season 2 update.
Eagle-eyed players noticed that the minimap didn’t match the current location to which Raven replied: “maybe the map knows about a change coming to this area in Season 2?”.
Is this the only change? We don’t know but it’s good to see that they’re keeping the map fresh with new/changed POIs.
