Another day, another GTA rumour. We know some of you are probably a bit frustrated with the lack of ‘official’ news about the next instalment of this crime-riddled franchise. Whereas others are searching furiously to find out any information possible. But this one is made us sceptical, alligators and hurricanes.
Rockstar has left us all on tenterhooks for quite a while now and we still have no idea when they will announce the release date for GTA 6. We’re hoping it’s going to be a surprise launch but, we can’t see that happening… Rumours have differed from 2021 to 2023 and we feel 2023 is more likely out of the two.
Alligators and hurricanes aren’t the only things mentioned in the post, there are claims the GTA 6 trailer will be released in November. The source has originated from an unverified account called ‘thatssobold’ meaning it could be completely false.
The post said:
“GTA 6 will be Announced Nov-Dec & Will Take Place in Miami Featuring Hurricanes, Gators, and MORE!

News Sources are confirming that GTA 6 will be Announced and Teased with a Trailer starting November through December, will be 3 Times bigger than #GTA5 Map.

#GTA6 Map will change over time with Updates from Rockstar similar to Epic Games (Fortnite) Map.”
So what we can take from this?
- The map will be 3 times bigger
- It will change over time similarly to Fortnite
This is nothing new if you have been following the rumours and looking at the size of the Red Dead map and how they managed to squeeze all of it in, we imagine they’ll be doing the same for GTA6.
Gamers are divided on whether the above leak is actually true or just another rumour bundled together to get some clout. We must admit it is a weird rumour but is it so out of the blue that it could be true? As always we’ll let you decide…
Rockstar hasn’t confirmed or denied these rumours and we can imagine they know all about it but they enjoy watching trying to speculate what will be in their game, it’s all publicity at the end of the day.
