It’s official that Bungie is teaming up with Epic Games to create a Destiny 2 crossover with both Fall Guys and Fortnite. As normal the two gaming giants will collab and create skins, gliders, back blings, pickaxes and even an on-theme creative map.
There will be a total of three Fortnite-themed skins that will be added to Destiny and a total of three armour ornaments added to Fortnite.
The skins are going to be based on Fortnite’s Black Knight, Oblivion and Drift skins. Players will be able to play as Ikora, Zavala or Exo Stranger.
This collab delves deeper into Fortnite, with Destiny-inspired back blings, pickaxes and gliders based on Destiny sparrow designs.
A creative map is also being created by Bungie and Epic Games based on Destiny 2’s Javelin-4 map. It will have a Control game mode which is similar to Destiny 2’s Crucible PvP mode.
The collab was leaked last weekend. Bungie is no stranger to crossovers and they celebrated their 30th anniversary with a special content drop adding Halo-themed guns to Destiny 2. The anniversary pack included a Battle Rifle-type pulse rifle and a Magnum-like sidearm.
