The RPG was a huge hit with fans even before the third instalment Wild Hunt, which is undoubtedly what catapulted the franchise into the homes of millions of gamers. Not only this but also into the homes of non-gamers after Netflix decided to turn it into a series.
It’s obvious fans are pumped to return to Redania as a new Kickstarter campaign has raised enough money to prove it once again.
The Witcher’s New Board Game Kickstarter
A new The Witcher board game has destroyed its crowdfunding goals in record time. The Witcher: Old World is an action-adventure board game by CD Projekt Red and Go On Board that raised its target amount of £215,587 in just 19 minutes, and then went on to raise half a million in an hour.
Go On Board were blown away by the support they received from fans and said: Your commitment is amazing, thank you so much for your support!” They start. “We can only say one thing: wow! We knew that the interest in The Witcher: Old World is big, but that was crazy! We honestly didn’t expect that!”
